I often find myself at the computer, doing, hopefully, constructive work. I enjoy being creative. And in creating simple and basic web sites, I can be very happy. I could possibly design web sites for churches!
You see, I have already designed a few web sites. Take a look at a couple:
I have also written one book with church audiences in mind. So, designing web sites for churches is not a far stretch.
Well, a few days ago, I was thinking about marketing and creating a brand for myself. Having used "TenderGestures" as an identity since 2001, I figured I'd create a more recognizable presence as "TenderGestures."
So, I decided to search the web for "tendergestures," and I found several entries. They all referred to my works in some manner - stories and the book that I wrote, 'MySpace' comments, a guestbook comment, etc.
But, one entry stood out! Somebody was advertising a poster that I, TenderGestures, created in Spring 2006!
Wow! I was really impressed that someone discovered my yet unmarketed work and thought it is good enough to market for his or her profit!
Whoa, whoa, whoa! I continued to browse the search engine results. Guess what! Another entry!
Someone had purchased a couple of mugs that I customized, using an illustration from my book! And, I NEVER, EVEN MARKETED the mugs! Yet, someone purchased those mugs.
Imagine my surprise!
Discovering unsolicited interest in my work prompted me to announce TenderGestures, - creative services, unique gifts, T-shirts and more!
TenderGestures creations include men's apparel, women and junior's apparel, baby and kid's apparel, caps and bags, dogs' t-shirts, posters and prints, cards and calendars, mugs and home decorations, stickers and postage stamps, buttons and magnets, and, ornaments and keepsakes.
